Brazil’s Challenges Continued in May
June 1, 2016

According to Panjiva:

Brazilian physical trade shipments fell 7% in April, including a 22% fall in imports only partly offset by a 14% increase in exports, Panjiva data shows. This was the result of the continued trend of a weak economy combined with year-over-year weakening of the Brazilian real. This pattern likely continued in May according to data from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Services.
