The container still has to reach the building
Drayage off the terminal, intermodal rail across the country and truckload for the last leg — arranged against the same file as the warehouse receipt, so the appointment and the arrival are planned together rather than negotiated after the fact.
Ocean and air freight on the same file
Most cargo that reaches the warehouse arrived on one of our own bookings. Running the international leg and the domestic handling together is what lets us sequence clearance, delivery and receipt instead of reacting to each in turn.
UWL is a full-service licensed NVOCC, Ocean Transportation Intermediary (OTI), licensed and bonded freight forwarder with FMCSA broker authority, and is C-TPAT certified. Warehousing is delivered through our sister company World Distribution Services and vetted 4PL partners.
